Omg, Harry Potter work. LOL Did this in my late night stream last night.

And new character! Even though I've had her in my mind for a while. This is drawn in Vivian's first year, hence the blonde hair. It felt really weird to color it that color...so used to the purple now. Blond as a color due to skin tone is much less defining.

Anyway, the girl she's sitting with is Debbie, a seventh year during Vivian's first year. Debbie is my mom.

I decided to make my family into HP characters in my story for shits and giggles. Nothing too major. Debbie has a twin brother named Kent in Ravenclaw house, and she eventually marries a Slytherin that was two years ahead of her. From when my mom was born in tandem to the years in Harry Potter this would be correct. LOL My sister and I would actually be in school around the same time as Vince.
We never really heard much about the older students hanging out with the younger students unless they knew them (older siblings/quidditch team/etc.), commonly just understood that being a seventh year is like being a senior in high school and you wouldn't take your time bothering with a 6th grader. But Hufflepuffs probably got over that idea quickly depending on who you were.

Debbie was head girl for her final year and went off to be a painter. She eventually becomes the painter of Dumbledore's portrait. Seewutididthar. My mom majored in fine arts, I think it's pretty legit.
